SignETS Plugin: Enhancing the SignETS Interface with Useful Features
SignETS Plugin is a Chrome extension designed to improve the interface of SignETS and add valuable functionalities. Developed by Hadi Yahia, this free plugin falls under the Browsers category, specifically in the Add-ons & Tools subcategory.
The plugin offers several features that enhance the user experience on SignETS. In terms of the notes interface, it allows users to view grades as percentages and points obtained on weightings. Additionally, it displays grades of 0, provides a graph depicting grade evolution, and allows users to rearrange evaluations. The plugin also includes a Beta probability density graph, grade prediction, and color-coding for easy identification.
On the course interface, SignETS Plugin introduces a percentile rank column and displays the grade as a percentage when the letter grade is not yet available. Users can hover over the session table to view graphs of their individual and group averages. They can also view their grade as a number, benefit from automatic information updates, and access a cumulative grade graph for all programs. A progress bar indicating the percentage of completed coursework is also included, along with color-coded indicators.
The plugin also offers new themes and provides the option to estimate a grade based on a specific score and percentile rank. It is worth noting that SignETS Plugin is open source, and the code is available on GitHub. It does not collect any user data, ensuring privacy and security.
